MEET DR. BRAD MILDE
Dr. Brad Milde (pronounced Mill-dee) is a transplant from southeast Missouri. He made his way west via Mesa, Arizona, where he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health after his graduation from the University of Missouri.. Here, he earned his DMD degree with numerous honors such as recognition for his work with emotionally and medically challenging patients.
Dr. Milde practiced general dentistry for four years before he decided to pursue his passion for orthodontics. Returning to the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, he completed an additional two years of training, earning a specialty degree in orthodontics. Dr. Milde also holds a Doctorate of Health Sciences (DHSc), which he received from A.T. Still University around the same time he graduated (a second time) from the Arizona School of Dentistry. His two doctorate credentials give Dr. Milde extensive knowledge through which he can provide in-depth dental care.
From the dry heat of Arizona, Dr. Milde and his family continued their westward journey, which led them to the Central Coast of California. Here, Dr. Milde took over the practice of esteemed orthodontist Dr. Steven Cohen, who had served patients from Los Osos and San Luis Obispo for more than three decades. With great appreciation for his new home, Dr. Milde plans to remain in this area while he and his wife raise their family. It is his pleasure to provide excellent orthodontic care to residents of his local communities.
Having worn braces himself, Dr. Milde can identify with his patients as they go through their own journey toward a healthier, more attractive smile. His own experiences shape his philosophy of care. When you visit Milde Family Orthodontics, you can feel confident that we will do all that we can to make your process comfortable, convenient, and effective.
Dr. Milde has multiple degrees and training in the latest technology and orthodontic techniques, but his education and experience has not diminished his Midwestern nature. Qualities such as dedication, compassion, and kindness remain important in patient care. As an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Central Coast Dental Society, Dr. Milde continues to learn how he can benefit each patient.
Dr. Milde enjoys exploring the various offerings of his local area with his wife and two children. The family loves to visit the beach as much as they can.
